Allardyce has already set to work in freshening up the squad. Bramble and Sibierski have moved on frees to Wigan while
Parker and Dyer have left for a combined £13m to West Ham. Meanwhile, Geremi, Viduka and Cacapa have joined on frees and Alan
Smith, David Rozehnal, Joey Barton and Jose Enrique have joined for around £20m.
For a successful season this time around, the defence has got to get sorted, and Allardyce has made this his priority,
signed experienced centre backs in Cacapa and Rozehnal, whilst also briging in promising left back Jose Enrique.
However, the team also needs to score more. At the start of the season, we hadn't scored at home since the start of February,
and perhaps with Allardyce's style of play, we won't neccesarily be banging in the goals.
However, as long as the results come, Allardyce is sure to be popular amongst all fans at Newcastle.
